Chad Slater | CEO + Founder | Direct 703-547-4961
Chad Slater is an accomplished marketing advisory CEO with over 20 years of experience helping many leading B2C and B2B companies develop and execute successful integrated marketing programs. His specialties include creative problem solving; partnership development; identifying and developing program opportunities; data strategy and data integration. Over the past 20 years he has worked with many leading firms including Dell, Pitney Bowes, Lands’ End, OfficeMax, CDW, Google, Northern Tool and Equipment and Home Depot.
Prior to starting IDM, Chad was a founding partner of MeritDirect, a direct marketing consulting firm. Before founding Merit, he spent several years at Direct Media (an Acxiom company), focused on developing prospect database solutions for catalog and retail clients.
Chad Slater has a BA in Anthropology from Hamline University.
John Chung | Chief Operating Officer | Direct 703-454-0326
John Chung currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at IDM and is responsible for financial planning, strategy, and operations. John has over 25 years of experience in financial services and previously served as Managing Director, Fraud, Claims, Disputes, and Anti-Money Laundering Operations for JP Morgan Chase.
Prior to joining JP Morgan Chase, John was an executive at American Express Company, serving in a variety of risk management functions in New York City and London, UK. Prior to joining IDM, John served as Chief Operating Officer of Laurel Road, a leading fintech firm that was successfully acquired by Keybank in April 2019.
John is a 1988 graduate of Wheaton College, where he studied sociology and math. John earned his MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management.
Drew Steed | Chief Information Officer | Direct 501-707-3564
Drew Steed brings over 20 years of database marketing and information technology experience to his current role at IDM. As Chief Information Officer, he drives a leadership function in information security, compliance, database solutions, and IT infrastructure. In his role, he focuses on the fundamentals of information technology, leveraging industry standards and compliance to meet the various needs of IDM.
Prior to joining IDM, Drew worked for Acxiom where he was focused on database solutions. There he gained extensive knowledge of data integration, database infrastructure, solution architecture and design.
Drew has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Central Arkansas.
Mike Rottinghaus | Solutions Architect | Direct 501-588-0875
Mike Rottinghaus provides leadership for IDM’s Marketing and Data Services Delivery Group. Mike and his team are responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing support of IDM’s client and partner solutions that drive insights, acquisition and retention. His focus is ensuring IDM services are world class.
Mike has over 20 years’ experience in the industry holding various roles. Prior to joining IDM, Mike held leadership positions at Acxiom including Business Operations Executive and Delivery Executive. Mike has worked across multiple industries including financial services, payment, and retail in which he had responsibilities in building and supporting enterprise and global marketing database solutions. In addition to this, Mike has international experience working with and leading teams across the UK, Poland, Brazil, and Australia.
Mike has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Arkansas.
Jacob Slater | Account Director | Direct 703-547-1289
Jake Slater brings over 10 years of account based marketing and database marketing experience to his current role at IDM. As Account Director, he drives engagements for key clients contributing to campaign planning, data stack sourcing, strategic advisement, analytics insights, audience development and program management. His focus includes expanding IDM’s data stack, ensuring data management platform utility and application.
Prior to IDM, Jake worked as a supply chain analyst at C.H. Robinson and in event marketing at CBS. He also has extensive experience in program development, ETL programing, marketing automation and performance measurement. Jake has worked in a strategic role with Andersen Corporation, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, LinkedIn, Northern Toll & Equipment and PayPal to name a few.
Jake has a BA in History from Taylor University and MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
Decia Stringer | Account Director | Direct 703-547-4969
Decia Stringer manages B2C client engagements as an Account Director at IDM. Key focus areas are business development and driving data strategies for customer acquisition and retention campaigns to include data procurement, custom audience creation, strategic planning through execution, and vendor partnerships all while maximizing budget and optimizing ROI.
Decia has over 20 years of successful sales, marketing and program management experience in both corporate and agency environments. Prior to coming to IDM, Decia held a variety of roles across the real estate industry including business development related to temporary retail space throughout a portfolio of commercial shopping centers across the Mid-Atlantic region; trained marketing and sales professionals for a residential property management company; and managed advertising and branding efforts for development companies such as Van Metro Homes, Paradigm, and Foulger-Pratt across the Washington DC metro area. Decia has worked in a strategic role with The Home Depot, JCPenney and Google to name a few.
Decia has a BS in Marketing and Economics from Ithaca College.
Joel Lanphier | Client Marketing Strategist | Direct 703-547-1282
Joel Lanphier leverages over 20 years of direct marketing experience in his role as Client Marketing Strategist. His primary role at IDM is a subject matter expert for customer and acquisition programs. This includes understanding the quality of data sources, providing direction on creative, offer, production, processing, circulation strategy and ROI optimization.
Before joining IDM, Joel was on the client side mostly at OfficeMax/Reliable and Berlin Packaging/Freund. While at OfficeMax/Reliable, he was responsible for direct mail, email and telemarketing retention strategies. At Berlin Packaging/Freund, Joel oversaw all retention, win back and acquisition activities including OLA, direct mail, sales, customer service and website content management.
Joel has a BA in Health Administration with an emphasis in Business from Northern Illinois University.
